The college has two units of N.S.S. In the academic session one 10 day camp is organized and then 5 one day camps are conducted. This is a compulsory activity of the B.Ed. students in the college.
Environment Fest was organised in collaboration with ENVIS Centre, Department of Environment, Chandigarh, to mark the Children's Day. The main purpose of the Environment Fest was to create awareness regarding the preservation of environment among school children. More than 182 Students from 17 schools participated in various competitions like PowerPoint Presentation, Poem Recitation, Group Singing, Poster Making, Paper Bag Making and Best out of waste Product. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Mrs. Madhavi Kataria, (PCS), Chief Manager, (Personnel) MARKFED.
Dr.Jyoti Khanna, Principal of the college is of the view that that environment is the biggest problem in the world and if children are aware of this problem, it can be solved with much higher speed.
In her address, Mrs. Madhavi Kataria appreciated the efforts of the college in creating environment awareness. She said that children are the future of the nation and awareness on social issues among them is the need of the day. She gave away the prizes to the winners.
