The college has two units of N.S.S. In the academic session one 10 day camp is organized and then 5 one day camps are conducted. This is a compulsory activity of the B.Ed. students in the college.
NSS volunteers of the Chandigarh donated library consisting of more than 200 books, the collection included fiction, science and other educational material to a school for slum children named, "SHIKSHA". Along with the books, the students and teachers of the college also donated toys for the nursery in the same school. This library was handed over to Mrs Usha Khullar, Coordinator, Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan who was invited on the day. Arrangements were also for the supervision and smooth flow of the library." Shiksha, the school for slum children is the adopted school of the college where students visit on regular basis and help the children not only in studies but in other activities also.
Various competitions were also held on the occasion like Collage Making, Poster Making, and Slogan Writing and students also expressed their views and recited poems on the theme "Literacy is the Best Medicine" given by the UNESCO on the 'World Literacy Day' 2008.
