The college has two units of N.S.S. In the academic session one 10 day camp is organized and then 5 one day camps are conducted. This is a compulsory activity of the B.Ed. students in the college.

To observe Harmony Week the college in collaboration with Yuvsatta, an NGO, Gandhi Samriti and Darshan Samriti New Delhi organised various inter college competitions as collage Making, Poster Making and Rangoli Making on various themes like "We Are One", Chandigarh- the City of Peace, and Say No to Wars" respectively to foster the feelings of national integration communal harmony among children.

About 400 students from 22 different schools of the city participated in the programme. Sh. B.C. Gupta, Home Secretary, Government of Punjab, was the chief Guest on the occasion and Mr. Vedabhyas Kundu, Programme Officer, Gandhi Samriti and Darshan Samriti, was the guest of Honour.

The programme was concluded by vote of thanks presented by Dr. Jyoti Khanna, Principal of the College. She emphasised on the importance of teaching the young generation about national integration and communal harmony from childhood and the role of teachers in moulding the minds of the future generation. Prizes were given away to the winners from different schools in various competitions.
