The college has two units of N.S.S. In the academic session one 10 day camp is organized and then 5 one day camps are conducted. This is a compulsory activity of the B.Ed. students in the college.

The Red Ribbon Club of the College in collaboration with STATE AIDS CONTROL SOCIETY, SECTOR 16, CHANDIGARH, organized an Extension Lecture and Valedictory Function of AIDS AWARENESS WEEK to mark World AIDS Day on Dec 1, 2008. The key speaker on the occasion was Mr. Gaurav Gaur, Lecturer, Department of Social Work, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Mr.Gaurav Gaur informed the students said that the Joint United Nations Program on HIV AIDS brought together ten United Nations Systems Organizations to help the World prevent new HIV infections and to care for those who are already infected. He held a live Interactive Session with the students and the staff enlightening about the various aspects, causes, myths and prevention of HIV AIDS. He also informed about Interactive Voice Record System in six hospitals in Chandigarh. Students were made to play a game to demonstrate how AIDS is assuming the proportion of an epidemic. The Session was followed by a Question Answer round in which the students and the teachers actively participated. A Skit "Blood Brothers", under the guidance of Dr. Anita Nangia, Program Officer NSS, was also presented by the NSS volunteers to spread awareness about AIDS.
