Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Chandigarh celebrated festival of 'Basant Panchmi' in the college premises on 30th January, 2020. Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the college and Chief Guest for the event, addressed the gathering with her celebratory words of acknowledgement for the day. All students, teachers and other faculty members showed exhilaration towards the arrival of spring season with kite flying. The passion and zest for 'Basant Panchmi' was exhibited by wearing yellow apparels for bagging titles of ‘Miss Basant’, ‘Miss Elegant’, ‘Miss Best Dressed’, etc. Girls brought delicacies of yellow hues for the competition of ‘Yummiest Yellow Dish’ and the best three dishes were honored with planters. The event ended on good note with a bustling DJ Party with traditional songs.
