DevSamaj College of Education in association with Government Medical College Hospital- Department of Transfusion Medicineorganized blood donation camp. Dr. Ravneet Kaur, Dr. GagandeepKaur , Dr. Paramjeet Kaur , Dr. TanviSood , Dr. Kshitija Mittal from the hospital co-ordinated the event. The camp was organized in order to commemorate the Founder's Day which is celebrated every year. The DevSamaj (a unique religious movement) was founded in 1887 by the most worshipful Bhagwan DevAtma. The fundamental objective of DevSamaj is to make us more and more capable of promoting the  cause of unique life mission of Bhagwan DevAtma i.e. propagation of truth, Beauty and Goodness in thought, speech and action among all classes of people, irrespective of any consideration caste, colour, creed and country.

 A lot of people came forward for this noble cause and donated blood. Around 169 people have donated the blood. Refreshments were given to the donors.

Effective involvement of the NSS volunteers was observed as they performed various duties that were assigned to them. The doctors appreciated all the efforts done by the teachers, NSS volunteers, donors and every person who were a part of this noble cause. Blood donation can be life saving for individuals.
