NSS units of DevSamaj College of Education, Sector 36-B organized a campaign against plastic free Chandigarh on 21.09.2019 to aware the students regarding the hazardious effects of using pastic bags. The event was followed by various performances by the students such as poetry, debate and skit. Students presented their views on the use of plastic through self written poems. It emphasized that using plastic bags is creating havoc to the environment. Debate was held to put forward the different views of the students in concern with the use of plastic and how the middle ground can be achieved by creating a balance between the use and misuse of the plastic. At the end of the event a skit was performed by the students to create an awareness regarding the misuse of the plastic. The event was judged by Dr. Kamini Gupta, Head librarian Mrs. PuneetKooner, Dr. Ritu Mago and Ms. Shivani Sharma. They appreciated the efforts made by the students and declared the results.
