NSS Units of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Chandigarh organized 'Pledge Taking Ceremony for Swachhta' in the college campus on 16th January, 2020 in respect of the Swachhta Pakhwada, 2020 under the able guidance of Mrs. Charanjit Kaur and Dr. Harpreet Kaur- NSS Officers of the college.  The event consisted of the following sessions-

• Addressal speech by Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon
• Pledge – taking ceremony

Addressal speech by Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the college- She addressed the gathering and acknowledged students about their massive role in the betterment of society in all aspects of life.

Pledge - taking- All students, volunteers and faculty members pledged to obey their role in carrying along 'Swachhta habits' with them wherever they go.

The event was a great success in inspiring young minds towards leaping to bring 'Swachhta' through their lives and bring mantle to implementation. The program concluded with warm thanksgiving to the audience.
