Basant Panchami celebrations

DevSamaj College of Education organised BasantPanchami celebration on 16th Feb, 2021in college premiseswith great enthusiasm. All the protocols of Covid-19 (masks, sanitizers and social distancing) were maintained properly.

The event was celebrated throughonline and offline mode. Various competitions like Miss Basant competition, flying kite competition, singing and flower arrangement competition were held in the college campus.

The chief guest of the event was Mrs. Arvinder H. Singh Member, Managing Committee, DSCE. Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the college extended floral greetings to the Chief Guest.The judges for various competitions were Mrs.RakhiJ. Singh,Dr.Shiva Malik and Dr.Shikha Vohra from DevSamaj College for Women Sec-45, Chandigarh. The function started with welcome speech by Sakshi.

The celebration started with modelling followed by talent hunt round in which so many students participated. Studentsalso performed dance on songs.Afterwards, the singing competition took place where students participated with great zeal.

The final result of various events were as follow:

Results of singing competition were as follows:

Binny(classical music) M.Ed. 1st semester	1st prize
Riya(instrumental) B.Ed. 1st semester	2nd prize
Manpreet (Tappe) B.Ed. 1st semester	3rd prize
Tanya (bollywood song), B.Ed 1st semester	Consolation Prize
