Independence Eve Celebration
NSS units of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B,Chandigarh celebrated 73rd year of Independence in the college premises on 14th August, 2019. The event commenced with the welcome of Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon, Secretary, Dev Samaj and Chairman, Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh with a bouquet by the Principal, Dr (Mrs) Agnese Dhillon along with the NSS officers, Mrs. Charanjit Kaur and Dr. Harpreet Kaur.
The programme began with the College prayer “Bhala Chahna”, poem recitation, speech and patriotic songs. Shriman Nirmal Singh Ji Dhillon addressed the students with his inspirational speech and anecdotes based on his own life experiences on partition.
Dr (Mrs) Agnese Dhillon, Principal of the College presented a vote of thanks in her speech. She motivated and congratulated the NSS department, faculty and the students for making the event successful. The programme was concluded with the National Anthem.
