INTERACTIVE TALK ON RESUME WRITING
Placement Cell and NSS Units of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector-36B, Chandigarh organized an interactive talk on ‘Resume Making and New Age Careers’ on 24th March, Mr. Vineet Raj Kapoor, Founder Director of Skill and Chandigarh Design School was the Resource Person of the event. The event began by welcoming the Resource Person with a sapling.
The main objective of this event was to guide students about Resume Writing Techniques. Besides that it also enlightened the students about different career opportunities in the present era. The event started with the college prayer and followed by the keynote address by the Speaker. Around 107 students participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm. The Resource Person emphasized that confidence is the key to success in any interview. He made the students aware about the new updated versions of the Resumes and stressed that different areas of job require different formats of resumes.
After the session, students had their queries about the theme. Overall the event went successfully.
