Teacher’s Day Celebrations
To mark the birthday of eminent teacher Dr. SarvapalliRadhakrishnan as Teacher's Day, DevSamaj College of Education, 36-B, Chandigarh organized an offline event. The aim of the event was to make a remembrance with a token of appreciation and respect for the teachers of the whole nation.
The session began with a warm welcome of Principal, Dr. (Mrs.)AgneseDhillon. She put forward the dedication and commitments of educators, being a torch bearer for guidance of the students. The event was graced with the benign presence as delegates by Dr. Manish Gogia,Dr Manish Gogia, General Secretary North Zone, Para Swimming Committee, Para Olympic Committee Member and Miss SheetalNegi, Sports Para Olympic Committee of Coach, GRIID, Chandigarh. Cake cutting ceremony of Teacher’s Day was arranged by the students as a token of gratitude. This was followed by poetical expression by the host Ms. Vaishali ,B.ed 1st year student and fun session in the form of song dedication was also conducted for memorable experience of the teachers.
The concluding words were delivered by Dr. Harpreet Kaur as an acknowledgment for the presence of audience. The entire college staff and students made it to a cheerful audience. All the COVID protocols as per government guidelines were followed.
By all means, the event was a great success.
