Our College celebrated 'Raunkan Teej Diyan' with enthusiasm on 19th August 2023. The campus bloomed with colors, laughter, and tradition as students and faculty marked the auspicious Teej festival.
The Chief Guests of the event were Dr. Agnese Dhillon, Secretary, College Management, Dr. Rajwinder Kaur, Principal, DSCEW, Ferozepur. The Guest of honor were the proud alumunus of the college Dr. Openderjeet Kaur, Samagra Shiksha Education Department Chandigarh, Ms. Mandeep Kaur Kanwal, Academics Coordinator, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sec-33, Chandigarh and Mrs. Harjeet Kaur, Entrepreneur.
Activities like Folk Dance, Singing, and Mehandi Competition took place.
A ramp walk showcased talents, with titles awarded to the follwing winners:-
1. Himanshi as Miss Teej
2. Aditi Thapa as Surili Mutiyar
3. Jasmeen Kaur as Majajan
4. Sukhmehak Kaur as Sunakhi Mutiyar
5. Phool Jahan as Riwayati Pehrawa
The celebration captured Teej's essence, leaving cherished memories.
