World Ozone Day
The Eco Club and NSS of Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36, Chandigarh, collaborated with The Department of Environment and Yuvsatta-NGO to celebrate World Ozone Day on 16.09.23, with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event aimed to raise awareness about the protection of the ozone layer and reducing climate change.
A competition on the theme 'Fixing the Ozone Layer and Reducing Climate Change' was organized, wherein 200 students from 20 different schools participated in a poster-making competition with full zeal and enthusiasm.
The competition was divided into two categories: junior (6th to 8th grade) and senior (9th to 12th grade). Certificates and trophies were awarded to top 5 entries. Chief patron and Secretary, College management, Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, appreciated the Eco club in-charges of the college for organizing such a purposeful program on this occasion.
